Treasured Places is our annual celebration for volunteers, landowners, members and friends—everyone who cares about permanent land conservation in Minnesota!
You’ll hear Executive Director Kris Larson discuss Minnesota Land Trust programming objectives in southeastern Minnesota. You’ll meet other staff who have been working with landowners in the state. Retired Minnesota DNR fisheries expert Larry Gates, who owns the land you will be visiting, will describe restoration plans that will improve the water quality of a stream with a naturally reproducing population of native brook trout, as well as habitat for other threatened species.
